Team Records and Series Notes

  • Kentucky improves to 20-3, 8-2 SEC, while Arkansas drops to 15-8, 3-7 SEC.
  • UK returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 10 at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., at 4 p.m. EST. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
  • Kentucky is in its 39th year of varsity play and owns an overall record of 676-474 (.588).
  • UK is 153-218 all-time in SEC play.
  • UK has reached 20 wins for the fourth consecutive year. It marks the first time since the 1979-80, 1980-81, 1981-82 and 1982-83 seasons the Wildcats have won 20 or more games in four straight seasons.
  • Head coach Matthew Mitchell is in his sixth year and now ties Sharon Fanning for second on UK's all-time wins list (134-59). His winning percentage of.694 is first. He is only four wins away from tying Terry Hall as UK's all-time winningest coach.
  • Mitchell is now 56-30 in SEC games (regular season only).
  • UK is 22-20 in SEC road games under Mitchell.
  • Kentucky is now 17-13 all-time vs. Arkansas and has won the last three meetings against the Razorbacks.

  • UK's starting lineup featured A'dia Mathies, Kastine Evans, Jennifer O'Neill, Samarie Walker and DeNesha Stallworth for the first time this season.
  • Evans made her first start of the season and 47th career starting nod.

  • Made a career-high nine free throws on 10 attempts.

  • Senior guard A'dia Mathies scored 15 points, marking the 21st time in 23 games she has reached double figures this season, including 14 in a row.
  • Tied a season high with nine rebounds. She also had nine vs. DePaul on Dec. 7, 2012.
  • Scored 13 of her points in the second half.
  • Moved up in a tie for fifth on UK's career games play list with 127.
  • Junior Kastine Evans played a career-high 40 minutes in her first start of the season and recorded a season-best five rebounds.
  • Made her first start of the season and the 47th of her career.
  • Junior forward Samarie Walker posted double-digit points for the 11th time this season with 16 points.
  • Third straight game with double-figure points.
  • Junior center DeNesha Stallworth had 12 points, her 20th game in double figures, including second straight.
