Texas A&M takes out the University of Kentucky Wildcats. KY lead for just a brief moment in the first half but Texas A&M stayed on top for the rest of the game with a first half lead 48 – 42 and the second half with a 49 – 45 to defeat the Wildcats with a 97 – 87 to win the first SEC quarter finals. The Cats will have to wait till Sunday to see who they play in the NCAA tournament.
