Friday Roundup: Baxter Update, Springboard Stakes in Norman, Kernel Talks LSU

Friday night, and Norman is less than 24 hours away.

First thing BBN wants to know: KSR has more clarity on CJ Baxter's injury ahead of the game. He was listed questionable on Thursday's report, so read the latest before you set your expectations for the run game.

The stakes are real. On3 frames Saturday as a springboard playoff opportunity for No. 15 Kentucky, and KSR's 11 Personnel lays out the play sheet for a win at Oklahoma. Want to know what the rest of the country thinks? KSR rounded up the national media takes.

From the other sideline, Sooners Wire's Know Your Foe gives the Oklahoma view of this one.

Bragging rights corner: the Kentucky Kernel argues Kentucky athletics is establishing department-wide dominance over LSU. After last weekend, we're not arguing. And KSR looks at five games that could impact College GameDay's Week 8 location.

Around the Blue: volleyball is in Norman tonight too, at Oklahoma, and Kentucky WBB is elevating its in-game promos for 2026-27.

Kickoff Saturday is 7:30 PM ET on SEC Network. Go Cats.
