Stein after LSU: "This was also for Big Blue Nation"

The field was a sea of blue, and Will Stein made sure everybody knew who the night was for.

After Kentucky's 35-34 overtime win over No. 10 LSU at Kroger Field, Stein closed his opening statement by pointing past the scoreboard and straight at the stands: "This was also for Big Blue Nation. This was for the state of Kentucky. This was for everybody that grew up just like me, a wildcat fan. I'm really excited for those people."

He had already called himself "in shock" and told the GameDay crowd that picked LSU to "keep doing that." Then he circled back to the fans who stormed the field: "Great to see all of those students and fans celebrating... they deserve it. They put their heart and soul in this game just like we did as a team and they were loud and they affected the game."

Two straight weeks. Two straight walk-off two-point wins. One message from the coach who grew up in this: it was for BBN.
