Clara Strack, Me'Arah O'Neal Named Preseason All-SEC by League Coaches

Two Cats made the coaches' All-SEC teams.

Kentucky women's basketball has two names on the SEC coaches' preseason All-SEC teams.

The SEC announced the coaches' picks Wednesday. Clara Strack made the Preseason All-SEC First Team, adding to a long list of preseason honors after the media also put her on its first team earlier this month as one of five unanimous picks. Me'Arah O'Neal, the 6-foot-5 junior forward who came over from Florida, made the Second Team, her first preseason honor from a major outlet. She averaged 13.6 points and 6.4 rebounds last season.

The coaches picked Kentucky fifth in the SEC, the same spot the media had the Cats, behind South Carolina, Texas, LSU and Vanderbilt. Kentucky opens against Morehead State on Nov. 2, ranked No. 14 in the AP Poll. Two 6-foot-5 All-SEC picks in one frontcourt? We'll take it.
