Craig Skinner Locked In Through 2031 as Kentucky Volleyball Extends Its Title-Winning Coach
Copied!

Craig Skinner is staying put. UK Athletics announced Tuesday that Kentucky's volleyball coach agreed to an extension through 2031, which KSR says adds two years to his old deal.
Skinner has been here since 2004: the 2020 national title, nine straight SEC championships, 21 straight NCAA Tournaments and his 500th career win earlier this season.
Our Take: Smart move, and smart timing. The Cats are 15-3 (7-1 SEC) and ranked No. 4, and locking him in mid-season tells recruits and would-be poachers exactly where things stand.
Next up: at No. 9 Tennessee on Wednesday, then No. 19 Texas A&M, last season's title-match winner, at home.
