Kam Williams and Trent Noah Are Week-to-Week as Kentucky Waits on Two Key Wings | Big Blue Times card

Not the news BBN wanted the day before Texas Tech, but there's some good mixed in. Kentucky gave injury updates Thursday, and Kam Williams and Trent Noah are both listed as week-to-week, per 247Sports' Cole Parke.

Williams (foot) is progressing nicely and working his way back, according to FOX 56's Connor Sturgill. Noah (hamstring) is the bigger question: Parke says his status is more uncertain, and Sturgill reports there is no timeline for his return. Guard Jerone Morton (knee) is getting good news but still has no set return date, with KyInsider's Kai McClelland reporting he is a little way off.

None of the three played in last Friday's 69-49 exhibition win over Little Rock. Afterward, Mark Pope said Williams' latest imaging after his second foot surgery was "extremely positive," while Noah was "kind of struggling a little bit right now to regain his health," per Larry Vaught and A Sea Of Blue.

Our Take: Week-to-week on Kam is the headline here. Pope has already said getting him back on time matters more with Noah's hamstring acting up again, and this sounds like the right track. Don't expect either wing against Texas Tech Friday. What to watch: whether Williams is cleared for full practice before the regular season tips off.
