Pope: Kam Williams Getting Live Work, Still Going Slow

Mark Pope updated Kam Williams after Kentucky's exhibition win over UCF on Oct. 28.

Pope said Williams is dealing with a two-time Jones fracture setback and the staff is being incredibly cautious. Williams has been increasing court work and is already in 5-on-0 at practice. Pope said he will get a little live work against the scout team on Friday, and the plan is still to go really slow.

"Kam is going to give us another huge boost," Pope said of when Williams jumps back in as the young roster grows.
