Kassie O'Brien Named AVCA National Player of the Week

Kentucky Volleyball's setter just got a national spotlight. Kassie O'Brien has been named the AVCA National Player of the Week.

Kentucky Volleyball announced the honor Tuesday afternoon, calling it "a Kassie kind of week." It caps a week that ended with a 3-0 sweep at Arkansas on Sunday.

National recognition for the player running the Cats' offense, and it comes on the same day Kentucky locked up head coach Craig Skinner through 2031. Not a bad Tuesday for the program. Congrats, Kassie.
