Recap: Indiana 3, Kentucky 1 (Men's Soccer)
Game date: Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026 · Bill Armstrong Stadium, Bloomington, Ind.
For an hour, Kentucky had No. 2 Indiana on the ropes. Agustin Lopez buried a left-footed shot from just inside the box in the 18th minute off a great cross from Eric Onos, and the Cats carried a 1-0 lead into halftime for the second straight match.
It turned in the 60th minute. A handball in the box gave Indiana a penalty, and leading scorer Oliver Moller-Jensen converted it. He scored again in the 72nd minute, and the Hoosiers added a third three minutes later to stay unbeaten at 10-0-2.
The bright spot was freshman keeper Benjamin Rasmussen, who made eight saves, five of them after the break, including a diving stop on a Nick McHenry free kick. Senior defender Sinan Solmaz also made his season debut after injury and played 34 minutes.
Kentucky fell to 1-6-3. Next up: at No. 9 South Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 10.
