Kentucky climbs to No. 17 in the Coaches Poll

The first official ranking move after the LSU stunner is in, BBN: Kentucky is No. 17 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll after Week 6.

That's the climb that followed Saturday's 35-34 overtime win over then-No. 10 LSU at Kroger Field — the same night that put the Cats back in every national reaction package. KSR has the Coaches Poll update with Kentucky at No. 17, and the broader Week 6 Coaches Poll Top 25 is out.

The Associated Press Top 25 is out too: Kentucky is No. 15 — back in the poll after dropping out last week — with LSU down to No. 22.

Enjoy No. 17 on the coaches' board and No. 15 on the AP, then look west: next up is Oklahoma on Saturday, Oct. 17, 7:30 PM ET on SEC Network. Go Cats.
