Sunday Roundup: Cats Stun No. 10 LSU, Climb Coaches Poll

Still buzzing, BBN. Kentucky's 2-point conversion in overtime finished off No. 10 LSU, 35-34, and the morning-after coverage is catching up to what Kroger Field felt like Saturday night.

KSR has the overtime knockoff framed 35-34, while the Kernel's whistle package calls it a Kentucky upset of No. 10 LSU. The Power K is back in the conversation too — KSR on an old symbol reborn in the LSU win, and LEX 18 on the return of the Power K in the 35-34 finish.

Rankings already moved on the coaches side: Kentucky shoots up to No. 17 in the Coaches Poll Top 25 after Week 6. Official AP ballots are still rolling in — we'll update when the poll is fully out, not before.

Around the Blue: UK women's soccer fell 1-0 at No. 9 South Carolina. Tough road night, but the football hangover doesn't get to own the whole Sunday.

Next up for the football Cats: at Oklahoma, Saturday Oct. 17, 7:30 PM ET on SEC Network. Enjoy this one a little longer — then get ready for Norman.
